Policies for Retail Textbooks
1st Floor University Center
All graduate level textbooks, seminar textbooks, consumable and supplemental materials will be available at the Bookstore. Departments that need additional textbooks or supplemental materials for a course may request that these items be stocked at Southeast Bookstore.
All Printing and Duplicating materials will be sold in the Bookstore. Please provide a quality, proofed, legible, one sided original with all requisitions. The materials are reviewed for copyrighted material. If the material has copyrighted sources, such as periodicals or books, the following steps will be taken:
*Southeast Bookstore will seek permission to reproduce the materials by obtaining copyright authorization from the publisher.
*Copyright permission fees vary with publishers. These fees are included in the final cost to the student. Response times vary and can take up to 3 months so please plan accordingly.
*Copyrights must be renewed with each printing.
*The Bookstore can not assume copyright permission granted from a professor. It must be renegotiated and assigned to the Bookstore.
*A minimum of 5 complimentary copies can be figured into the total cost of the packet. This must be requested at the time of order, additional copies may be purchased.
When revisions are made to a course packet or the packet is discontinued, the unsold copies will be charged to the Department.
Any questions regarding copyrights should be directed to the book department of Southeast Bookstore, X2526.
